This is the most goth crystal... Vivianite is a beautiful blue green crystal that forms off of bones in the presence of iron. It has been found in burial sites where bodies were placed in iron caskets, and in some locations the material can grow very rapidly. Most vivianite is formed in areas where there were once bogs or similar places where a lot of animals and marine life may have gathered and died together. Combine that with water and high iron content soil, and Vivianite may form.
Spiritual beliefs around vivianite include it's physical representation of rebirth. It's green hue evokes heart opening and transformation. Many associates it with release of old versions of oneself to allow us to move into the more authentic version of our true self with a higher capacity for love and enlightenment.
